DPS Teams Win Big On Day One As Under-14 Matches Commence At Bengaluru Football Stadium

Bengaluru: Defending champions DPS East and DPS North claimed big wins on the first day of the BFC Inter-School Soccer Shield, as Under 14 matches got underway at the Bengaluru Football Stadium, in Bengaluru, on Monday.

Chandan Biju struck four times for DPS East in their 4-0 win over Vidyaniketan Public School while goals from Lokesh (2), Prasanna, Aryan and Pranith gave DPS North a 5-0 win over Baldwin Boys’ High School.

The tournament, set to be played until the 14th of January, will also see Boys’ teams in U8, U10 and U12 categories turn up, while Girls’ football will be played in U8, U10 and U12 categories.
