Eight Teams Confirmed For Quarterfinals

Bengaluru: The quarterfinal line up in the Boys’ U14 section was confirmed on Day Three of the 2019-20 edition of the Bengaluru FC Inter-School Soccer Shield after six games were completed at the Bengaluru Football Stadium, on Wednesday.

Defending champions DPS East made it to the knockouts with three successive wins after a dominant 6-0 victory over Samsidh Mount Litera Zee School in the first game of the day. Striker Chandan Biju added to his tally with a brace and remains atop the goalscorers chart with seven strikes in three games. Meanwhile, Bishop Cotton Boys’ School also was among the goals scoring six past Vidyaniketan School and sealing a knockout berth after a hat-trick from Mustaba.

Greenwood High School, Inventure Academy, Clarence High School, DPS North, Headstart Academy, and St. Joseph’s European High School also sealed their place in the knock-out stage joining Bishop Cotton Boys’ High School and DPS East.
